Career Center Receptionist - LHS
Applications are now being accepted for a Career Center Receptionist at Logan High School. The Counseling Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for the counseling office, providing friendly, professional customer service to students, parents, and staff. This position supports daily front desk operations, manages communication and scheduling, and ensures a welcoming and organized environment while maintaining strict confidentiality.
Hours per Day: 5.5
Hourly Rate: $17.59
Contract: School Year
Essential Functions- Greet students, parents, and visitors in a welcoming and professional manner
- Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and walk-in inquiries
- Assist students with signing in, appointment check-ins, and basic questions
- Maintain a calm and supportive presence, especially during high-traffic times
- Schedule and confirm student appointments with counselors
- Manage daily calendars and help prioritize urgent student needs
- Coordinate meeting spaces and assist with event scheduling
- Handle sensitive student information with discretion
- Follow school policies and privacy laws (e.g., FERPA)
- Performs other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Google Workspace, Microsoft Office)
