Administrative Assistant I – Preschool

Up to 20 Hours a week
Hours flexible, location flexible

Position Overview

The Administrative Assistant I, Preschool, provides administrative and clerical support for district preschool programs. The position assists with clerical duties, coordinates program activities, maintains records, supports compliance requirements, and communicates with staff, parents, and external agencies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Compile data from multiple sources, including time calendars, schedules, and budget documentation.
  • Prepare correspondence, reports, meeting agendas, minutes, and program documentation.
  • Coordinate meetings, professional development events, and special education and preschool activities.
  • Maintain manual and electronic records, including program documentation and financial records.
  • Monitor program activities, including meeting arrangements, screening appointments, and budget balances.
  • Organize office operations to support administrative functions.
  • Participate in meetings, workshops, and training sessions related to program operations.
  • Procure supplies and materials for the preschool department.
  • Respond to inquiries from staff, parents, students, and public agencies.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
