Overview

The Aggie Blue Bikes Trainer orients the incoming Program Coordinator to the operations and administration of Aggie Blue Bikes, starting in July for training.

Responsibilities
  • Orients new program coordinator to shop space, storage spaces, USU Facilities, USU Center for Community Engagement
  • Introduces new program coordinator to key colleagues, campus partners, community partners
  • Trains new program coordinator in program budgeting, Human Resources processes, cash handling, fleet maintenance, bicycle maintenance, bike rental system, supplies ordering system and vendor accounts
  • Orients new program coordinator to Aggie Blue Bikes’ signature events and to the space-reservation, marketing approval processes needed to stage events
  • Discusses strategic direction of Aggie Blue Bikes and ideas for future programming and collaborations
Qualifications
  • Thorough knowledge of operations of Aggie Blue Bikes, including Service Now, Aggie Time, and other platforms

Advertised Salary

$24.50 per hour

This position requires considerable physical activity. Employees must have sufficient strength to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position including heavy lifting (up to 75 lbs.) and/or pushing and pulling of heavy objects. Employees must be prepared to assume uncomfortable positions, such as crawling, kneeling, and squatting. Employees could work outside and may not be protected from weather conditions, including extreme cold and extreme heat for extended periods.

Employees are exposed to hazardous conditions including, noise, vibrations from machinery, moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, exposure to chemicals, elevated work spaces, such as scaffolding, and atmospheric conditions that can affect the respiratory system, such as fumes, odors, dusts, mists, gases, and poor ventilation.
