We are seeking an experienced and organized Field Manager to oversee high-end residential exterior construction projects and field operations. This role is responsible for managing crews, coordinating schedules, maintaining the highest quality standards, ensuring safety compliance, and supporting successful project execution from start to finish. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, have extensive knowledge in installation of exterior finishes, and demonstrate the ability to manage multiple projects and teams.
Responsibilities- Manage and oversee field operations for residential exterior construction projects including siding and cladding systems, stucco and EIFS systems, masonry and stone veneer systems, soffit, fascia, and exterior trim, beam wraps, post wraps, and exterior accents.
- Coordinate daily schedules, manpower, materials, equipment, and subcontractors to maintain project timelines.
- Supervise installation crews and ensure all work is completed according to company quality standards, manufacturer specifications, and project requirements.
- Conduct jobsite inspections to verify workmanship, layout accuracy, flashing details, moisture management practices, and overall project quality.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and jobsite cleanliness standards.
- Review project plans, scopes, schedules, and specifications prior to and during construction.
- Communicate with project managers, sales staff, purchasing teams, builders, homeowners, and subcontractors throughout the project lifecycle.
- Identify and resolve field issues, scheduling conflicts, material shortages, and installation concerns in a timely manner.
- Train and mentor crew members on installation techniques, best practices, safety procedures, and quality expectations.
- Track project progress, labor productivity, and completion milestones.
- Maintain professional relationships with builders, contractors, inspectors, suppliers, and clients.
- Proven experience in residential construction management, field supervision, or exterior installation.
- Strong knowledge of siding, stucco, masonry, flashing, waterproofing, and exterior envelope systems.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, project scopes, and schedules.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, crews, and priorities simultaneously.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and jobsite safety practices.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with smartphones, tablets, scheduling software, and digital communication tools.
- Valid driver's license.
- Experience working on high-end, custom residential homes and large exterior projects.
- Bilingual communication skills are a plus.
- OSHA certification or additional construction safety training.
- Experience coordinating subcontractors and material logistics.
