Advocates of both in-store and digital services and solutions who are knowledgeable about capabilities and features that drive adoption, usage and ultimately guest loyalty. Empowered to make shopping quick and easy for guests at the checklanes, guest services, gift registry, pick-up and drive up while ensuring exceptional quality.

Typical Day Responsibilities
  • Create an easy, inspiring and friendly guest experience by delivering on commitments
  • Greet guests with friendliness, smile, eye contact or wave
  • Help guests find what they need and/or resolve issues for a smooth shopping experience
  • End every guest transaction with a sincere thank you
  • Actively support team efforts and assist peers while maintaining a positive and respectful attitude
  • Adjust to business and guest needs to deliver an inspiring experience
  • Deliver a service culture that prioritizes guest experience by meeting service standards
  • Make the guest aware of current promos, store activities and events. Show guests how to use the Target App features and Wallet.
  • Explain Target Loyalty benefits and assist with application, sign‑up and signing in
  • Scan and bag items efficiently, accurately and in compliance with food safety and company best practices
  • Work efficiently to minimize wait time while maintaining service and accuracy
  • Familiar with Order Pick‑Up, Drive‑Up and online ordering; direct guest to enroll, activate and use these features
  • Attempt every return or exchange and follow register prompts; partner with leaders to resolve issues per Target policies
  • Maintain a clean, clutter‑free work area by gathering unpurchased items, baskets and hangers for removal
  • Stock supplies during open hours while being available for guests
  • Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance
  • Work safely at all times; comply with all safety policies, best practices, and training; report hazards
  • Support guest services such as order pick‑up (OPU), Drive‑up (DU) orders and DU returns while complying with beverage laws
  • All other duties based on business needs

  • Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot
Basic Expectations
  • Accurately handle checkout operations, transactions and cash office operations as needed
  • Scan, handle and move merchandise efficiently and safely; occasionally lift up to 44 lb without assistance
  • Flexible schedule: nights, weekends and holidays; work scheduled shifts though you must be present on time and take required breaks
  • Remain mobile throughout scheduled shift
  • Work in varying temperatures, humidity and environmental conditions while performing duties such as Drive‑Up and carry‑out
