OverviewThe Seasonal Horticulture Intern supports horticulture education within Weber County and works closely with the Ogden Botanical Gardens. This position provides hands‑on experience in research, program development, plant care, garden maintenance, and public outreach.
Responsibilities- Assist with maintenance of demonstration gardens
- Support educational programs and events
- Prepare materials for workshops
- Help with community outreach initiatives
- Interest in horticulture, gardening, and community education
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Reliable access to transportation within Weber County
- Willingness to work occasional evenings or weekends for educational programs and community events
