Logan City School District is seeking licensed elementary educators interested in joining a specialized K-2 Long-Term Substitute Teacher Pool.
Selected candidates will receive additional paid training in LCSD's early literacy instructional practices and will be given priority consideration for K-2 long-term substitute assignments. While awaiting long-term placements, participants will be expected to accept daily substitute assignments within Logan City School District.
This opportunity is ideal for educators who enjoy working with young learners and want to play an important role in supporting student achievement during teacher absences.
Qualifications- Active Utah Elementary Educator License required
- Successful teaching experience preferred
- Strong classroom management and instructional skills
- Commitment to high-quality literacy instruction in grades K-2
- Participate in district-provided paid training
- Be available for daily substitute assignments within LCSD
All substitutes will be employed through Kelly Education and must meet all Kelly Education employment requirements.
Because of the importance of early literacy, selection into this pool will be based on demonstrated instructional expertise and a commitment to student learning.
