Aide – SpEd Preschool
This position is for approximately 24 hours per week.
Position OverviewThe Aide – Preschool supports instructional programs within preschool classrooms by assisting teachers with instruction, supervising students, supporting the implementation of IEP goals, and helping maintain safe and effective classroom environments.

Key Responsibilities- Adapt classroom activities and materials under teacher direction to reinforce learning objectives.
- Assist medically fragile or physically disabled students with personal care and hygiene needs.
- Provide immediate first aid or medical assistance when directed by healthcare professionals.
- Assist teachers in implementing behavioral or instructional plans developed by IEP teams.
- Monitor students during classroom and school activities to maintain a safe environment.
- Provide individual and small-group instruction to support academic, social, and daily living skills.
- Maintain instructional materials and classroom records.
- Communicate with teachers and support personnel regarding student progress.
- Attend meetings, workshops, and training sessions related to job responsibilities.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
