At Spartronics, the Corporate Materials Quote Manager leads a corporate team of material estimators responsible for delivering accurate, competitive material costs for aerospace, defense, medical, and industrial bid proposals across multiple manufacturing sites in a timely manner. This role drives cost-effective quoting aligned with corporate commodity strategies while managing supplier relationships and multi-site coordination.

What a Day Looks Like:

• Oversee material quoting for RFPs/RFQs, verifying inputs, assigning projects to estimators, and enforcing quoting best practices to ensure competitive Bills of Material. All proposals are to be validated and delivered on time.
• Ensure alignment on scope of technical data packages and lead-time for program kickoffs, sharing status updates with Proposal Managers, Program Managers, Commodity Managers, Purchasing, BD, and suppliers.
• Conduct validation reviews of material quotes, confirming best-and-final offers before submission to the Corporate Quote Bid Team.
• Coordinate team to secure competitive supplier pricing, lead times, MOQs, and packaging from customer/Spartronics-approved vendors while ensuring Corporate Approved Vendor List adherence.
• Partner with internal stakeholders on high-value projects and maintain centralized databases for quote documentation.
• Manage multi-site estimator team, fostering accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with corporate supply chain strategies.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5-7+ years in electronics materials quoting, procurement, supply chain in an EMS environment.
• Expertise in complex BOM management, Excel, and other Quoting Toolsets.
• Strong analytical skills for pricing trends, supplier negotiations, and cost roll-ups.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and team coordination in fast-paced settings.
• Experience with Aerospace and Defense, Medical and Industrial suppliers and regulations (ITAR, FARs, NADCAP, AS9100D, ISO 13485:2016 ).
• All candidates must be a US Citizen.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Background in electronics for Aerospace and Defense manufacturing.

Travel Requirements

This is a facility based position with up to 20% travel.
