Position: US_East | Electrical / Electronics & Semiconductors Engineer_L4

Electrical Technician

We are seeking an Electrical Technician responsible for building harnesses and performing electrical testing on automotive and industrial systems. The role also supports electrical design, documentation, and basic integration of vehicle and robotics systems. The technician will assist with schematics, BOMs, and wiring harness design and review under senior engineering guidance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build, rework, install, route, test, and troubleshoot electrical harnesses
  • Perform testing of electrical and electronic systems in automotive and industrial environments
  • Conduct basic troubleshooting using lab equipment such as multimeters and oscilloscopes
  • Support prototype builds and system testing activities
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve technical issues
  • Assist with electrical schematics, system diagrams, and harness layouts
  • Support creation and maintenance of BOMs and technical documentation
Mandatory Skills &

Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of relevant hands-on electrical technician experience
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Strong experience in harness building, rework, and electrical assembly
  • Hands-on experience in lab and electrical testing environments
  • Experience using basic test equipment (multimeter, oscilloscope, etc.)
  • Understanding of electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, BOMs, and harness design concepts
  • Basic experience with EE CAD tools (Altium preferred)
  • Ability to interpret engineering specifications and work cross-functionally
  • Experience supporting 3D harness layout in mechanical CAD environments
Preferred

Skills:
  • IPC/WHMA-A-620 certification or familiarity
  • Knowledge of CAN bus systems
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and proficiency with hand tools
  • Exposure to 3D CAD design environments
  • Familiarity with embedded programming concepts
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to work in a lab/shop environment
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
  • Willingness to travel as required
