Position: Ultrasound Tech FT Nights 6:30p-7a

Overview

Logan Regional Medical Center is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to work in our Radiology department performing mainly abdomen, small parts, and vascular studies on GE Logic 9 equipment. This position is full-time nights 6:30p–7a (539958). The successful candidate will work 3/12 hour night shifts and be on minimal call on some weekends.

LRMC is fully accredited by The Joint Commission. Responsibilities
  • Perform ultrasound examinations of abdomen, small parts, and vascular systems with GE Logic 9 equipment.
  • Prepare and position patients, select appropriate techniques, and document findings accurately.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other staff to ensure timely and accurate interpretations.
  • Maintain equipment and adhere to safety, quality, and infection control standards.
  • Participate in on-call schedule as assigned, with minimal call on weekends.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound/Radiology program.
  • RDMS preferred or RDMS eligible with the ability to become registered within 2 years of hire.
  • Excellent communication and bedside manner with the ability to educate patients and make them feel comfortable.
  • Prefer at least 1 year of Ultrasound experience but will consider new graduates.
