Overview

We are looking for a PostgreSQL DBA to help support our growing PostgreSQL environment in Azure. This candidate will need excellent verbal and written skills, be willing to participate in on-call responsibilities, and work well with team members and Software Engineers.

Responsibilities

• Database and table design reviews in Github
• Performance monitoring
• Performance tuning
• Database backup and recovery
• Replication support
• Security management
• On-call support and Emergency support

Requirements:

• Great verbal and written skills
• 5-10 years PostgreSQL
• Bachelor's+ degree or equivalent experience
• Code reviews
• Scripting
• Performance tuning
• Optimization
• Disaster Recovery
• Replication
• User Management
• Willing to be part of an on-call rotation
