OverviewUSU Facilities seeks applications for Surplus Pick-up & Delivery Workers to facilitate collection, delivery, and resale of used campus items through Surplus Sales. This is an on-campus ACA Variable hourly position, providing a minimum of 20 hours per week. There is potential for increased hours during holiday periods.
Responsibilities- Operate various university vehicles, including pickups and vans, both manual and automatic transmission
- Collect used campus items for resale through Surplus Sales
- Handle the collection, delivery, and sale of Surplus Sales items
- Valid driver's license to perform essential job responsibilities, such as driving university vehicles and transporting materials
- Previous experience in related fields are preferred, particularly cashier experience
- Math skills are preferred

ADAThe position requires considerable physical activity. Employees must have sufficient strength to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position including heavy lifting (50 pounds) and/or pushing and pulling of heavy objects. Employees must be prepared to assume uncomfortable positions such as crawling, kneeling, and squatting. Additionally, the work environment can include confined or narrow spaces. Employees must be able to safely operate both manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
Employees must adhere to safety precautions and may be required to use protective equipment.
