Role Description The Sr. Global Sourcing Manager - Contract Manufacturing, Vietnam is a full-time, on-site role based in Hanoi or Danang, Vietnam. This position is responsible for managing contract manufacturing partners in Vietnam, including supplier selection, negotiation, and performance management across cost, quality, delivery, and compliance. The role involves developing and executing global sourcing strategies, conducting market and supplier analysis, and optimizing the supply base to support iFIT's product roadmap.
The manager will collaborate closely with engineering, operations, quality, finance, and product teams to align sourcing decisions with business objectives and timelines. Day-to-day activities include monitoring supplier capacity, driving continuous improvement initiatives, mitigating supply risks, and ensuring adherence to ethical and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- At least 10 years experience in global sourcing, supply chain management, or procurement, preferably with a focus on contract manufacturing in Asia, including Vietnam.
- Demonstrated skills in supplier negotiation, cost analysis, and contract management to achieve favorable commercial terms.
- Background in vendor performance management, quality assurance collaboration, and continuous improvement in manufacturing environments.
- Ability to conduct market research, analyze sourcing data, and develop strategic sourcing plans aligned with organizational goals.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and experience working with engineering, operations, and finance teams.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities in a global business setting.
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certifications (e.g., CPSM, CSCP) are beneficial.
- Proficiency with ERP and sourcing tools, plus strong Excel and data analysis skills to manage and report on supplier performance.
- Proven capability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and to lead initiatives with minimal supervision.
- Familiarity with compliance standards, ethical sourcing practices, and international trade considerations.
