This position is responsible for directing the daily operations of the physical building(s), managing equipment, budgets, and subcontractors, negotiating leases, overseeing construction projects, and coordinating the maintenance department, including personnel, activities, functions, processes, and equipment.
Responsibilities- Oversees Facilities and Maintenance Department and Employees.
- Interface with internal and external customers.
- Provide effective interdepartmental communication.
- Coordinate resolution of major customer technological issues.
- Improve teamwork and morale among all divisional members.
- Ensure adequate training, maintenance, and materials to provide maximum uptime and operational readiness.
- Oversee coordination of building space allocation and layout, communication services and facility expansion.
- Plan budgets and schedules for facility modifications, including cost estimates.
- Inspect all construction and installation progress.
- Comply with all local jurisdiction zoning and building requirements.
- Participate in the design, planning, and construction of the company’s facilities and properties.
- Develop and maintain facility maintenance and preventive maintenance programs.
- Develop budgets and long‑range facility plans based on company growth and future needs.
- Oversee the functioning of all building systems in accordance with local zoning laws and regulations.
- Perform other assigned duties as needed.
Bachelor’s degree or Technical Certification in a related field with 10+ years of experience in facilities and maintenance management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in the printed circuit board industry is preferred.
