Swing shift Secondary Packaging Operator

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform hourly quality check to verify the code, packaging, shrink wrap, and overall appearance of the product.
• Responsible for the operation of the secondary packaging equipment.
• Refer to the production book for information on the code, trays, and straws.
• Work in a fast paced production environment and exhibit a sense of urgency while maintaining excellent productivity goals and quality product.
• Responsible for cleaning one food contact area, rework cans, and all the non-food contact secondary packaging machines.

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. on a regular basis.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Demonstrate ability to read, write and speak in English.
• The individual must be willing to work as a team.
• The employee will also receive the training needed to succeed in this position.

• 1-2+ years experience in manufacturing environment or production.
• Basic computer skills.

• Swing Shift, Monday to Friday occasionally Weekends
• 3 pm - 11:30 pm

• Training pay starts at $18.80/Hour with a potential to reach $20.80/Hour after meeting all skill levels.
