We are looking for a skilled, detail-oriented, and quality-focused SMT-Manufacturing Specialist to join our team! In this role, you'll engage in a variety of semi-repetitive tasks, including hand soldering, mechanical assembly, and machine operation. • 4-day/10-hour work week.
• Shift 1:
  Monday-Thursday, 5:30 AM - 4:00 PM
• Shift 2:
  Monday-Thursday, 4:00 PM - 2:30 AM; plus a shift differential of $1.50.
• Overtime may be required on Fridays and Saturdays.

• Hand-soldering intricate electronic assemblies with precision and care.
• Electro-mechanical assembly, ensuring accuracy and adherence to technical specifications.
• Set up and load feeders, boards, and materials for SMT line operations under supervision.
• Operate basic SMT equipment, including a solder paste printer, and assist with SPI setup.
• Visually inspect boards for obvious defects and elevate issues as needed.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of SMT workstations and tools.
• Follow detailed work instructions and comply with ESD and safety protocols.
• Perform other duties or support other areas as needed, based on business requirements or production flow.
• Operates manufacturing equipment while adhering to safety protocols to optimize production processes and maintain efficiency.
• Enters and updates product-tracking data to ensure accurate, up-to-date records for quality control and inventory management.
• Conducts inspections of finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to follow written instructions.
• Strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
• Ability to work standing for extended periods.
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend English to interpret work instructions, documentation, and safety requirements.
• Effective verbal and written communication in a technical environment.
• Collaborates effectively within a team and adjusts to shifting priorities and environments.
• Must be U.S. persons within the definition of ITAR, with the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD Security Clearance. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e., 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.

• Experience in electronics or SMT manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO 13485, ITAR).
• Basic knowledge of SMT equipment and processes.

• Accuracy and timeliness of SMT setup tasks.
• Compliance with work instructions and safety requirements.
• Support for production throughput and line readiness.

• Lift and carry materials or feeder reels up to 25 lbs.
• Stand and walk for extended periods in SMT production areas.
• Manual dexterity for handling small components and tools.
• Visual acuity for inspecting boards and components.

This is a non-exempt position. Compensation is based on experience in manufacturing, education, and prior experience in electronics manufacturing.
