Manufacturing Engineer, Manufacturing Production, CNC Machinist
Osteo Centric Technologies is looking for a skilled Machinist to join our prototype shop in our Logan, UT office. In this role, you’ll be hands‑on with advanced fabrication equipment, Swiss lathes, 5‑axis mills, CNC grinders, producing precision components that directly support medical device development.
You’ll work closely with our engineering team, translating blueprints and design sketches into high‑quality parts that meet exact specifications. If you take pride in precision work and want your skills to contribute to products that improve patient outcomes, we want to hear from you.
What You’ll Do- Operate fabrication machinery including Swiss lathe, 5‑axis mill, and CNC grinder to produce parts used in manufacturing processes.
- Read and interpret blueprints and design sketches to ensure proper dimensions and specifications.
- Select appropriate cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials for each job.
- Complete machine setups and fabricate parts through final inspection.
- Examine and measure completed units to identify defects and ensure parts conform to specifications; adjust machine controls to resolve production errors.
- Inspect machinery for needed repairs and perform minor repairs within your area of expertise.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of your work area in compliance with applicable safety standards and regulations.
- Support special projects and other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong math skills with the ability to apply them in a precision machining environment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical plans.
- Excellent mechanical aptitude, time management, and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to stand and bend for prolonged periods and lift up to 35 pounds.
- Vocational or technical school training in machining or a related field.
- Experience operating multiple types of machine tools with progressive machining capability.
- Prior experience in a medical device, aerospace, or other precision manufacturing environment.
