Cheese Packaging Operator

We are seeking a Cheese Packaging Operator to perform packaging and preparation of cheese products.

• Handle cheese blocks weighing 200 to 300 pounds and ensure they are properly bagged, sealed, and packaged.
• Open plastic bags, place cheese blocks inside, seal securely, and package sealed blocks into boxes.
• Stack packaged boxes on pallets and secure with straps.
• Operate a stand‑up forklift to transport pallets to the staging area.
• Label cheese blocks accurately while they move through the production line.
• Maintain sanitation of the Vilutis Room and perform routine cleaning duties.
• Conduct product checks and follow paperwork guidelines to maintain quality standards.
• Collect and label samples for quality testing.

• Minimum age 18 years.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Pass a background check and drug screening.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Willingness to work collaboratively in a team environment.

• 1–2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.

• Monday to Friday, 4:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. with rotating weekends.

Training pay starts at $19.10 per hour and can increase to $21.60 per hour after training.
