Job Description
Job Summary: The incumbent will make boxes and labels according to daily orders. Coordinates with Production Supervisor and Assistant Production Supervisor to ensure enough boxes are made for the designated shift. Maintains clean equipment and work area and performs other duties as designated by supervisor.
Compensation: $19.00 - paid weekly
Shifts Available: Days and Nights
Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for keeping up with production runs to ensure packers have enough boxes for finished goods. Review production sheets to produce enough boxes for the designated shift. Maintain clean equipment and work area. Comply with company safety policies and procedures. Work behind production line to keep product flow. Change materials for production line according to BOM. Maintain filters and clean work area.
Ensure resin pumps are functioning properly. Operate label equipment and AX. Operate forklifts safely. Help in production as needed. Perform other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment: Manufacturing work environment. Requires constant physical activity such as reaching overhead, squatting, bending at the waist, lifting boxes of 60 lbs or more, climbing stairs throughout a 12‑hour shift, maintaining a standing posture for 12 hours, intense walking, and tolerating hot and cold temperatures.
Knowledge,
Skills and Experience:
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. Able to effectively communicate. Ability to keep up in a fast‑paced environment.
