Mail Services Specialist

Job Responsibilities

• Operate machines that automatically address, weigh, and tie into bundles printed publications, such as magazines, catalogs, and pamphlets, for mailing according to zip code.
• Review manufacturing instructions to determine type and size of publication scheduled for mailing.
• Make adjustments to guides, rollers, loose card inserter, weighing machine, and tying arm using rule and hand tools.
• Record production according to customer name and zip code, and machine downtime due to malfunctions or lack of work.
• Process and ship outgoing small package parcels such as UPS, Federal Express, and DHL.

• Requires knowledge of standard setups, adjustments, and operating characteristics of the equipment and skill to perform standard adjustments and operate the equipment.
• Ability to set up, operate, and perform basic adjustments to the equipment according to the individual job requirements, operating characteristics, and capabilities of the equipment.
• Typically, the adjustments performed at this level are routine and the need for such adjustments is readily apparent.

Starting pay rate is $16.25. Shift differential is $1.25 per hour. 10‑hour shift on B Shift Tue‑Fri, 5 PM‑3 AM. The pay range for this role at the noted location is $16.25‑$21.64 per hour. The actual rate of pay offered may vary based upon, but is not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift, and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include overtime, shift differential, call‑in, and stand‑by pay.
