Position SummaryWeareseekingadependableandhardworking
HVACDuct Fabricator tojoinourshopteam.
Thispositionwillfabricate,assemble,andprepareHVACductworkandsheetmetalcomponentsforinstallation.
Theidealcandidateismechanicallyinclined,detail-oriented,andcomfortableworkingwithhandtools,power tools,andshopequipment.
- FabricateandassembleHVACductworkandsheetmetalcomponentsaccordingtomeasurements,drawings,andjobspecifications.
- Measure,mark,cut,bend,andassemblesheetmetalandductwork.
- Buildductfittingsincludingelbows,transitions,offsets,dampers,andplenums.
- Operatehandtools,power tools,brakes,shears,plasmacutters,andothershopequipment.
- Installductliner,insulation,sealants,fasteners,andothermaterialsasneeded.
- Inspectcompletedductworkforaccuracy,quality,andproperfit.
- Prepare,label,organize,andloadcompletedductworkfordeliverytojobsites.
- Maintainaclean,organized,andsafeshopenvironment.
- FollowallcompanysafetyproceduresandPPErequirements.
- Assistwithothershopandfabricationdutiesasneeded.
- HVAC,sheet metal,ductfabrication,construction,ormanufacturingexperiencepreferred.
- Abilitytoaccuratelyreadatapemeasureandperformbasicmeasurements.
- Mechanicalaptitudeandwillingnesstolearn.
- Comfortableusinghandtoolsandpowertools.
- Abilitytoreadandfollowdrawingsandinstructions.
- Strongattentiontodetailandcommitmenttoquality.
- Reliableattendanceandpunctuality.
- Abilitytosafelyliftandmoveductworkandmaterials.
- Abilitytostand,bend,kneel,reach,andworkforextendedperiods.
- Abilitytoliftandmaneuverductworkandmaterials.
- Abilitytoworksafelyaroundmachinery,sharpsheetmetal,noise,andtypicalshopconditions.
