Flour Milling/Packaging Details:
- Temp-to-Hire position
- $ 18.00 to $ 20.00 / hour
- Full Time work available
- Weekend work required
- First Shift (Monday through Friday from 06:00am to 06:00pm)
Flour Milling Production:
- Must be able to work 12 hour shifts M-F
- Operate, monitor, and adjust flour-milling and material handling equipment
- Start and shut down equipment according to established procedures
- Monitor control panels
- Safely transfer wheat, flour, feed and other materials
- Collect flour samples
- Verify finished products meet production and customer specifications
- Record production information
- Identify flour leaks
- Assist with troubleshooting
- Complete cleaning and sanitation tasks throughout the mill
- Control dust accumulation
Flour Milling/Packaging
Qualifications:
- Must be able to lift 50+lbs repetitively
- Previous Production, manufacturing, agriculture, food processing, warehouse, or equipment operator experience required
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read and follow instructions, safety procedures, and product specifications
- Basic Math skills, including the ability to record measurements and production information
- Basic computer skills or willingness to learn computerized production controls
- Ability to recognize equipment problems and report them promptly
- Strong attention to details
- DEPENDABLE ATTENDANCE AND PUNCTUALITY
- Ability to work assigned shifts, overtime, weekends, and holidays as production needs require
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
