Accessibility Coordinator IDRPP VISTA

Member Duties

The VISTA member will strengthen the internal capacity of the USU Institute for Disability Research, Policy & Practice by supporting improvements to organizational systems, processes and infrastructure that help the Institute operate more efficiently and inclusively. The member will assist with developing and organizing internal tools, guides and documentation that support staff in implementing accessible practices across programs and initiatives. Activities may include reviewing materials for accessibility, organizing and documenting internal procedures, and supporting the development of resources that promote compliance with accessibility standards.

The member will also assist in improving systems used to coordinate programs, research projects, trainings, events, and communications by organizing information, updating internal resources, and identifying opportunities to streamline processes that support accessible and inclusive engagement.
