When you’re working in the deli department, you’ll be on the front‑lines of customer service—your smile can make the difference between a good shopping experience and a great one.

• Maintain safety of the facility by following all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines, including conducting safety sweeps, following forklift spotting procedures, handling hazardous materials, and correcting/reporting unsafe situations.
• Maintain the sales floor and merchandise presentation in the freezer/cooler/deli area in accordance with company policies, including handling claims and returns, zoning the area, receiving and stocking merchandise, setting up, cleaning, and organizing product displays, removing damaged goods, signing and pricing merchandise, completing required audits, paperwork, logs, and documentation, and securing fragile and high‑shrink merchandise.
• Provide member service by acknowledging members, identifying their needs, locating merchandise, assisting with purchasing decisions, providing deli products, resolving issues and concerns, and promoting company products and services.
• Follow policies related to the freezer/cooler area by complying with food handling policies, operating, repairing, and sanitizing equipment, following cold‑chain procedures, cleaning the area, monitoring freezer/cooler fans, drains, and doors, and reporting issues.

Hourly wage range: $18.00 to $26.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.

Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid at rates ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour depending on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
