As a Security Officer - Mobile Patrol Driver in Logan, UT
, you will serve and safeguard clients in multiple industries, including Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, remain visible to deter security-related incidents, and support a professional on-site presence. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license in line with Allied Universal policy.

- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or contractors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial chemical and/or petrochemical location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and notifying site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision as required.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, process areas, parking lots, and the perimeter to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards or irregular conditions for reporting.
- Control access by verifying credentials, directing visitors, issuing temporary badges when assigned, and/or monitoring gates and entry points in accordance with site requirements.
- Complete security-related reports and daily activity logs, monitor alarms and/or cameras when assigned, and communicate clearly with employees and emergency services as needed.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Having a guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Having customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
