Materials Testing Technician

Utah Testing and Engineering, a subsidiary of Sunrise Engineering, is searching for a Materials Testing Technician to support our growing organization.

• Prepare and complete daily written reports.
• Complete paperwork for each job.
• Perform inspection and testing of materials in the field and lab to verify conformance of construction plans and specifications.
• Complete various duties at the direction of the Inspector.

• 0‑3 years of materials testing experience.
• Must have a valid driver’s license, good driving record, and the ability to maintain a company vehicle.
• Must have a high school diploma or GED certificate.
• Pass a pre‑employment drug screen.
• Able to work a project‑based schedule. This is not a typical 9am‑5pm position.
• Desired certifications (or the ability to obtain within 30 days) include:
• • ICC or ACI certifications.
  • Nuclear Gage certification and experience.
  • On the job training will be available.
