Athletic Trainer

Logan City School District is now accepting applications for Full-Time, Part-Time, and PRN Athletic Trainers
.

The Athletic Trainer will work collaboratively with the district’s other full-time Athletic Trainer to support the health, safety, and performance of student-athletes. This position focuses on injury prevention, evaluation, treatment, and the development of off-season fitness, flexibility, and strength training programs in coordination with coaches.

Athletic Trainers are assigned to teams at the Varsity or JV/Freshman level and report directly to the Athletic Director
.

• Collaborate with the other Athletic Trainer to develop and implement off-season fitness programs
• Coordinate with coaches to design and lead flexibility and strength training sessions aimed at injury prevention and performance improvement
• Prepare student-athletes for practices and competitions
• Provide supervision of students during all aspects of athletic participation
• Evaluate medical conditions and injuries of student-athletes
• Administer first aid and appropriate treatment
• Educate student-athletes, parents, and coaches on potential health risks and injury prevention strategies
