CDL Drivers and Crane Operators

We are a CM/GC Contractor with a crane rental arm to our company, we are based in Logan, UT. We specialize in all commercial and industrial construction. Spindler Construction has been in operation since 1973.

We are in need of Class A CDL drivers and crane operators with a Class A CDL and TLL & TSS NCCCO certification. Pay based on experience.

Work throughout Northern Utah, SW Wyoming, and SE Idaho.

Crane operators:
You are directly responsible for your equipment and interacting with the customer at the lift site. You will be trusted to run cranes ranging in size from 22 ton up to 120 tons. You will be required to have a certification by an approved entity like the NCCO. We will pay for the right candidate to be certified or re-certified if needs be.

We have multiple hydraulic cranes in our fleet ranging from a Grove 22 ton up to 120 ton Link-Belt (2025). We are looking for the candidate to have a certification in TLL and TSS. See our crane site at spindler crane dot com.

CDL operators:
Within our construction and rental business we need drivers to haul material in dump trucks as well as haul equipment & counter weights to and from jobsites with lowboy or flat trailers, and even running side dump trailers. Class B is fine but we will require you to get your class A licenses. Most of our fleet has a standard transmissions also.

All position responsibilities require basic knowledge of hand tools. Additional responsibilities depend on your experience and past training. We are willing to train the right candidate for any position we are offering.

CDL operators will
NOT always be in a truck/equipment full time and would be expected to fill in on field crews as needed if not driving or operating.

Minimum GED or High School diploma.

Proficient in basic hand tool operation.

CDL Operators:
Class A CDL with clean driving record (a copy of your record will be requested upon interview).

Crane Operators:
Need a Class A CDL and NCCCO Certified in Hydraulic cranes with a classification in TSS & TLL.

We will help get a CDL certified from B to A if needs be.

Do you want to run a concrete pumper? ACPA training a plus if applying for a concrete pump operator.
