Forklift II – Loader / Order Picker

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a dependable Forklift II – Loader / Order Picker to join a busy shipping and receiving team. This role is ideal for someone who understands that accuracy, product condition, and documentation matter — especially when product is moving in and out all day.

Schedule for the Forklift Loader Operator:

Grave shift: 8:00 pm - 5:00 am Saturday-Wednesday. (Thursday and Friday Off)

Responsibilities for Forklift Loader Operator:

• Safely load and unload materials from trucks and place them in assigned storage locations.
• Verify and unload incoming shipments of product, packaging, and materials
• Collect, stage, and prepare product and pallets for shipment to customers and internal sites
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently
• Verify product details including item numbers, product type, and lot codes
• Ensure accurate order fulfillment and complete all required shipping documentation
• Maintain proper records in all required formats
• Perform general cleaning and housekeeping duties throughout the facility
• Backfill other positions as needed and assist with additional duties as assigned
• Maintain punctuality and regular attendance

Requirements for Forklift Loader Operator:

• Proven forklift driving experience with a strong commitment to safety
• Ability to operate forklifts in both warehouse and yard settings
• Good communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with supervisors and production staff
• Strong time management and organizational abilities
• Capable of handling paperwork for inventory, shipments, and material tracking
• Frequently lift and transport materials up to 100 lbs. (with or without assistance)
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and crouch throughout the shift
• Climb trucks, stairs, or ladders when required for loading/unloading
• Work in outdoor conditions year-round (heat, cold, rain, etc.)
• Strong vision and communication skills to safely identify, move, and track materials
• Able to pass a background check and drug screening as well as a physical test
• Able to provide 2-3 professional recent references
• Able to fluently communicate, write and understand English
