Student Work-Study: Ivy+ Career Link

Federal Work‑Study positions are part‑time roles available each semester for current Ivy Tech students. The Career Link Work‑Study student supports the daily operations of Ivy+ Career Link, which helps students with career exploration, resumes, job searches, and employer connections.

• Greet students and employers as the first point of contact.
• Answer questions, schedule appointments, and assist with events.
• Provide general administrative support to the Career Link team.
• Handle phone calls to students/employers to remind them of upcoming appointments.
• Perform data entry, front desk reception, and walk‑in student assistance.
• Assist with event preparation and implementation.
• Execute other duties as assigned.

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Student must have completed current FAFSA on file demonstrating financial need.
• Maintain a minimum of 6 credit hours of enrollment in eligible courses.
• Maintain an aid‑eligible Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) status.
• Student cannot have any incomplete financial aid requirements.
• Excellent interpersonal communication, telephone, confidentiality, and customer service skills.
• Strong ability to communicate effectively and efficiently verbally and electronically.
• Excellent word processing and spreadsheet computing skills in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
• Great organizational skills; ability to multi‑task and meet project deadlines.
• Ability to work as a member in a team environment.

$15.00 per hour
