Job Description
- Directly responsible to a classroom teacher and the program supervisor.
- Provide individual/small group instruction as planned by the teacher.
- Assist in teaching a diverse population of children in an atmosphere of kindness that encourages active inquiry, fosters individual growth and promotes respect for self and others.
- Participate in pre-service and regular In-Service training.
- Provide individual/small group instruction as planned by the teacher.
- Must be energetic, able to multi-task, have patience, and a team player.
- Must be able to assist children with all grade level academic lessons and assignments.
- Experience with persons with special needs is a plus but not required
- 60 college credit hours or Para Pro Certificate.
- Complete and clear all pre-employment drug testing and Indiana background check requirements for school personnel.
