Job Description
- Start date will be August 2026
- Part-time evening ABE teacher will teach small groups of adult students who need to earn their HSE (GED).
- This teacher will focus on teaching reading/language arts, as well as math and needs to be comfortable differentiating instruction and supporting struggling students.
- Teacher will be required to keep track of attendance and maintain communication with students, as well as use data to inform instruction.
- Preferred applicants will have a Bachelor's Degree in education, as well as a teaching license and teaching experience.
- Ability to teach Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday evenings 5:30-8:00.
- Upon offer, applicant must complete and clear a drug screen and expanded criminal history background check for school personnel as required by IN state law.
