Accounting Manager

Ferretti Search is delighted to partner with a growing manufacturing company to locate their next Accounting Manager.

• Location: Logansport, IN (Hybrid)
• Compensation: $95,000–$130,000 base + annual bonus
• Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday

• Manufacturing Focus: Work closely with plant operations, costing, and production teams to strengthen financial performance across the facility.

• Month-End Close: Lead month-end procedures, including journal entries, reconciliations, cost allocations, and financial reporting.
• Cost Accounting: Oversee standard costing, variance analysis, bill of materials, inventory valuation, and margin analysis.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate financial statements and support budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Cross-Functional Support: Partner with operations, supply chain, and production teams to drive accurate costing and improve financial visibility.
• Process & System Improvements: Evaluate and enhance accounting processes, internal controls, and ERP utilization.
• Future Controller Responsibilities: Gradually take on multi-site oversight as the company grows, expanding leadership, reporting, and operational influence.

• Experienced Accounting Professional: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• Cost Accounting Background: 5+ years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment with strong hands-on cost accounting skills.
• Detail-Oriented & Analytical: Strong understanding of inventory processes, costing methodologies, and financial analysis.
• Growth-Minded: Ambitious professional seeking a path toward a multi-site Controller role.
• Systems Savvy: Proficient in ERP systems, Excel, and data analysis tools.
