Diesel Mechanic 1st Shift – $1500 Sign On Bonus

• Starting salary of $25–$29 per hour depending on experience

• Monday – Friday, every week
• First shift: 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
• No weekends
• Repair/maintenance shop at Logansport, IN hauling site

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems on trucks and equipment
• Estimate time and material costs on vehicle repairs and new parts
• Perform work within Standard Labor Repair Times (SRTs)
• Respond to emergency breakdown service calls
• Conduct safety checks on vehicles to protect employees and communities
• Complete required paperwork, document parts usage, and record repair times
• Assist senior mechanics with project work
• Review, complete, or assign repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports
• Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with corporate/OSHA standards and safety procedures

• 2 years of relevant work experience
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Over 18 years of age
• Legally eligible to work in the United States
• Ability to meet physical requirements with or without reasonable accommodations
• Successful completion of pre‑employment drug screen and physical examination

• Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, crouching, and climbing; standing, walking, and grasping constantly; occasional sitting and balancing
• Exposure to physical occupational risks such as cuts, burns, toxic chemicals, etc., often
• Exposure to physical environment involving dirt, odors, noise, weather extremes, heat, and humidity, often
• Work inside garage/shop or gas plant and outside with inclement weather, heat, and humidity
