Shift Details
• Multi-Shift Operations (3 Production Shifts)
• Onsite leadership role The Manager Plant III is responsible for leading all functional areas of a pork processing facility, including production, maintenance, safety, quality, logistics, and workforce management. This role oversees plant operations across multiple shifts, drives operational excellence, ensures food safety compliance, and leads continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and cost efficiency.
Plant Operations & Leadership
• Oversee full plant operations including production, maintenance, and logistics
• Manage operations across three production shifts
• Ensure efficient workflow, productivity, and cost control
Quality, Safety & Compliance
• Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and regulatory standards
• Monitor incoming and outgoing product quality
• Maintain sanitation, safety, and operational standards
Performance & Continuous Improvement
• Analyze cost and performance data to identify improvement opportunities
• Drive process improvements and operational efficiency initiatives
• Implement best practices across production and operations
People Leadership & Talent Development
• Lead and manage multiple teams across departments
• Drive talent mapping, succession planning, and retention strategies
• Mentor managers and enhance workforce capability
Logistics & Coordination
• Oversee shipping, receiving, scheduling, and inventory management
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for smooth operations
• 8+ years of experience in food processing / meat industry
• Strong experience in plant operations and production management
• Experience managing multi-shift operations
• Strong leadership and people management experience
• Knowledge of food safety, quality, and compliance standards
• Bachelor's Degree in a technical or related field
• Experience in pork or meat processing industry
• Knowledge of SAP systems
• Strong experience with Microsoft Office tools
• Leadership and team management
