Chase Center Rehabilitation is seeking an experienced and compassionate Unit Manager to join our leadership team. This role is ideal for a Registered Nurse (RN) — though qualified Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) will be considered — who is committed to delivering exceptional clinical care in a skilled nursing environment.
The Unit Manager plays a critical leadership role in overseeing daily unit operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and promoting a culture of resident-centered care. Flexibility is required, as coverage across varying shifts may be necessary to meet operational needs.
Key ResponsibilitiesDirect and oversee day-to-day clinical operations of the assigned unit.
Ensure residents receive care that reflects compassion, dignity, and respect.
Supervise, mentor, and support nursing staff to maintain high performance standards.
Develop, implement, and update individualized care plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as facility policies and standards of care.
Serve as a primary liaison for residents’ families, providing updates and addressing concerns promptly and professionally.
Monitor resident conditions, respond to changes in status, and intervene appropriately in emergent situations.
Promote a positive, team-oriented work environment focused on quality outcomes.
Active Indiana RN or LPN license in good standing.
Prior experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) required.
Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to varying shift coverage needs.
