For more information please visit  position is responsible for supporting the daily production activities by installing diagnosing repairing and maintaining electrical and electronic equipment in an Ethanol production plant environment.
** Key Responsibilities
*** Repair maintain and install electrical systems and equipment following all safety procedures electrical codes manuals schematics diagrams and blueprints
* Inspect install maintain and repair electrical components instrumentation control systems network and related hardware on all production equipment based on plant specific requirements
* Identify needs manage and coordinate preventative maintenance repairs and installation of new equipment or systems. Works with external contractors vendors and internal customers
* Maintains site electrical standards ensure NEC National Electrical Code compliance
* Train and develop others in basic electrical repair and troubleshooting techniques
* Perform other general maintenance tasks as required
* Maintain knowledge of all relevant safety policies and regulations serving as a role model for safe work practices. Proactively identify and address potential hazards to ensure a safe working environment for all on site

** Education & Experience
*** High School Diploma or GED equivalent required Associateâs Degree or technical degree in an electrical field preferred
* 5+ yearsâ relevant experience in electrical systems and industrial equipment in a plant environment
* Electrical Engineering license Electrical apprentice license and/or Journeyman license or equivalent preferred
** Physical Requirements and Working Environment
*** Work is performed in an ethanol production facility that operates 24x7 which will require flexibility to work nights weekends and holidays as needed
* This position is subject to heavy lifting climbing working in strained positions and in confined areas occasionally for a prolonged period
