Overview
All-Turf Lawn Care, a Turf Masters Brands company, is seeking dependable individuals to provide weed control and lawn fertilization services in our Loganville, GA location. Lawn technicians work independently and are assigned daily routes of around 20 lawns. Technicians are trained to accurately and safely perform fertilization and weed control treatments, while also identifying and communicating to customers any lawn issues.
Our company provides Professional Horticultural Services for the Greater Loganville, GA area, including weed control in lawns and natural areas/flower beds, fertilization of lawns and ornamental shrubs and trees, insect and disease control for turf and landscape plantings, and specialized services such as mosquito management, fire ant management, core aeration, soil fracturing, topdressing, over seeding, athletic fields, and verticutting. Responsibilities- Safely apply fertilizers, weed control, pest control, and other lawn care chemicals according to company guidelines and application guidelines.
- Follow the assigned route to complete daily scheduled services on time.
- Evaluate lawn conditions, including grass health, soil quality, and pest issues, to determine appropriate treatments.
- Operate and maintain application equipment (sprayers, spreaders) with proper calibration and safety.
- Provide friendly and professional interactions with customers, answering questions about services and products.
- Educate customers on best practices for maintaining their lawns after treatment and provide ongoing maintenance tips.
- Document and communicate any complex customer concerns or requests to the Service Manager for resolution.
- Follow safety procedures and use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Handle chemicals responsibly, adhering to state and federal regulations and company standards.
- Maintain certifications or licenses required for chemical application.
- Maintain accurate records of treatments, chemicals used, and application rates.
- Submit daily service logs and reports to the Service Manager.
- Monitor inventory levels and notify management of supply needs.
- Clean, inspect, and perform routine maintenance on application equipment; troubleshoot minor issues and coordinate repairs as needed.
- Education:
High school diploma or GED required. - Experience:
No experience required; prior lawn care/landscaping/chemical application is preferred but not required; training provided. If applicable, obtaining and maintaining applicator licenses is required by state(s). - Skills:
Strong attention to detail, good communication and time management, ability to follow instructions, teamwork and/or independence, willingness to work outdoors, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, ability to complete company training on safety and chemical application practices.
- No prior turf care knowledge is required; we provide training.
- High School Diploma/Equivalent
- 18 years of age or older
- Valid Driver's License
- Able to lift at least 50 pounds
- Enjoys working outdoors
Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday, with seasonal Saturdays.
Work Hours:
7 am until route is completed (usually between 2 pm and 5 pm).
