Senior Financial Analyst

Location: Lombard, IL (Hybrid – 3 days onsite / 2 days remote)

Reports to: Controller

Compensation: Up to $100k (no bonus)

The Senior Financial Analyst manages full-cycle monthly accounting activities, including general ledger activity, journal entries, reconciliations, and account analyses. This role supports audits, ensures accuracy of financial data through collaboration with field teams, and prepares key financial statements and reports. It also analyzes trends, evaluates accounting treatments, and partners with operational leaders to support decision‑making and process improvements.

• Organize monthly general ledger activity.
• Monitor account balances and make adjustments.
• Prepare journal entries.
• Support documentation for internal/external audits.
• Partner with field teams to ensure accuracy of accounting data.
• Prepare income statements, balance sheets, and reporting packages.
• Review journal entries and accounting classifications.
• Conduct special studies and recommend process improvements.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and account analysis.
• Analyze trends, costs, revenues, and obligations for forecasting.
• Evaluate financial records and recommend accounting treatments.
• Partner with operational leaders and general managers.

• 2+ years of accounting experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
