The Payroll Specialist is responsible for supporting the end-to-end payroll processing operations across all Bel US locations. This role works closely with and reports directly to the Payroll Manager, assisting in maintaining payroll accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across multiple legal entities and locations.
Are You Looking To:- Process end-to-end payroll for US-based associates across multiple company codes and locations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
- Support the Payroll Manager in standardizing payroll processes and maintaining data integrity across all payroll systems
- Assist in the administration of payroll systems, including HRIS and timekeeping platforms, troubleshooting issues and escalating as appropriate
- Prepare and reconcile payroll reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis to support senior leadership reporting
- Generate payroll analytics to support strategic business decisions and collaborate with Finance teams to align payroll data with budgets and forecasts
- Identify payroll discrepancies and inefficiencies and recommend corrective actions or process improvements
- Support internal and external audit processes by preparing documentation and responding to auditor inquiries
- Assist with special projects, including M&A payroll integrations, system upgrades, and process transformation initiatives
- Collaborate cross-functionally with HR, IT, and Finance teams to ensure seamless payroll operations
- Maintain strict confidentiality and data security for all payroll information
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the Payroll Manager or HR leadership
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field preferred
- Minimum of 3–5 years of progressive payroll experience
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now required; experience Oracle HCM a plus
- Experience processing multi-state payroll across multiple legal entities
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll regulations and compliance requirements
- Proficiency with HRIS and payroll systems (e.g., ADP, SAP, Workday, or similar platforms)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams
- Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Compensation range of $31.25 - $36.54 hourly. The compensation offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors
