We are seeking an experienced A-Level Automotive Technician in St. Charles, IL.
This position pays $35-$45/hour based on experience, with production bonus opportunities based on efficiency and earning potential up to $100,000 annually.
You’ll work Monday-Friday in a team-oriented shop with advanced diagnostic work, modern equipment, and the stability of straight hourly pay with no flat rate.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns
- Perform general automotive repair and maintenance
- Complete Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVIs)
- Use factory-level diagnostic procedures and scan tools
- Diagnose CAN and vehicle network concerns
- Maintain approximately 50-52 hours of weekly productivity
- Complete repairs to OEM-level quality standards
- Support and mentor other technicians when needed
- A-Level automotive repair experience
- Extensive professional automotive repair experience; 8+ years preferred
- Strong automotive diagnostics and troubleshooting skills
- Experience using factory scan tools and OEM-level diagnostic procedures
- Understanding of CAN and vehicle network diagnostics
- Ability to work efficiently and independently
- Proven ability to produce quality repairs in a professional shop environment
- $35-$45/hour based on experience
