Partner is seeking a Full-Time Assessor for our construction services team to perform all Construction Assessor responsibilities including planning, executing, reviewing, and finalizing projects according to deadlines and within budget.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & TASKS- Involvement in multiple projects concurrently
- Oversee the quality of Partner's deliverables throughout the project's life cycle
- Coordinating the efforts of Partner team members, and at times Partner Associates (PAs) in order to deliver projects according to plan
- Cultivate strong relationships with the Partner team members, Client, and other project stakeholders in order to successfully deliver a quality product on time
- Conduct inspections
- Write reports
- Ensure quality of services and reports
- Effectively communicate project expectations (i.e. Client-specific SOW, templates) to team members and assessors in a timely and clear fashion throughout the course of the project
- Provide solid recommendations and solutions to Partner team members (RM, TD, PM, etc.) and Clients, while understanding the assessment’s potential impact on the transaction process
- Identify and resolve issues with projects
- Deliver appropriate progress reports (verbally or e-mail)
- Communicate and coordinate follow-up questions during the review process
- Excellent communication skills (internal and external)
- Ability to work on projects concurrently
- Proven ability to successfully deliver a quality product on time
- Exceptional writing skills
- Ability to cultivate strong relationships within a team
- Comprehensive understanding of design processes/concepts, construction elements (contracts, cost, admin, scheduling, change orders) and funding/payment processes
- Proficient in report authorship and quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) or reports
- Bachelor Degree or greater from accredited university in architecture, construction management and/or engineering discipline a plus
- 3+ years relevant experience in construction or construction related field(s) such as architecture, construction management and/or engineering
- Must be able to read, write, speak & comprehend English
- Must be able to communicate clearly in person, over the telephone and via emails
- Visual acuity adequate to perform job duties, including reading information from printed sources and computer screen
- Must be able to visit a construction job site and maneuver around and through construction activities
The pay scale for this role considers a wide range of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Please note, the disclosed pay scale estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic location where the position may be filled. You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary incentive bonus program which is dependent on various factors, including, but not limited to individual and organizational performance.
