Knowledge And Skills
- Dependable, reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills required.
- Ability to display a positive disposition at all times.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Competency with business software (MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint).
- General knowledge of computers and data entry.
- Ability to understand and administer the Illinois Vehicle Emissions Program rules and regulations.
- Ability to adapt to changes in the Program operations, procedures and updates.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to understand and communicate the Illinois Vehicle Emissions Program rules and regulations
- Bilingual Spanish speaking skills required
- High School Diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
- Two to four (2-4) years’ experience in a Call Center/Customer Service environment required; previous lead experience preferred.
- Experience in successful conflict resolution preferred.
