Job Summary

Collaborate with team members to design residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Technical tasks include conceptual site layout, utility design, roadway design, site grading, storm drain design, storm water management, water and sanitary sewer main design, soil erosion and sedimentation control design, floodplain studies, permitting and entitlement support, and construction support.

Accountability and Duties
  • Design site plans utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • Prepare conceptual grading analyses and site layout.
  • Prepare and compute due diligence/site analysis reports, engineer opinion of probable costs, utility computations, detention/retention computations, storm water reports, earthwork analysis.
  • Assist in production of final construction drawings.
  • Prepare permit applications for applicable municipal agencies.
  • Assist project managers as requested.
  • Assist with client contact and communication pertaining to specific projects.
  • Work closely with other disciplines on multi‑discipline projects.
  • Attend client and public meetings, days or evenings.
  • Participate in business development efforts as requested.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, ability to interact with a variety of people.
  • Adaptable and able to respond quickly and accurately under pressure.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Available to work nights and weekends as required.
  • Proficient in MS Office;
    AutoCAD Civil 3D experience is a plus.
  • Valid driver’s license.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited four‑year college or university.
  • 2+ years of experience in civil design.

Pay Range: $75,000 - $120,000 USD
