RESPONSIBLE FOR
Overseeing probation staff responsible for supervising offenders in the community in order to maximize public safety.
DUTIES INCLUDESupervising staff and programming, completing performance appraisals, attending/conducting staff meetings, auditing cases, reviewing casework, planning, revising, implementing, and monitoring policies and procedures for Court Services, networking with other public safety and community agencies.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSMaster's Degree in management, public administration, criminal justice, or social services and one or more year's employment in Probation/Court Services; or Bachelor's degree and two or more year's employment in Probation/Court Services.
GENERAL EMPLOYMENT QUALIFICATIONSIn addition to the minimum educational requirements, successful applicant will have demonstrated ability in the following:
- Interpersonal Sensitivity
- Judgment
- Oral Fact Finding
Applicants will be subject to a criminal history background check before an offer of employment is made.
Applicants need to be on the state approval promotion’s list.
