TORQ Coatings is expanding into Milwaukee — and we’re looking for a General Manager to build this market from the ground up.

This is not a maintenance role.
This is a true build-and-scale opportunity.

You will be responsible for establishing operations, building a team, and creating the systems needed to grow this market into a high-performing, high-volume operation.

As General Manager, you will lead all production and field operations while building the foundation for long-term growth.

This is a hands-on leadership role — you will be in the field, on job sites, and actively involved in hiring, training, and developing your team.

You will set the tone, the standards, and the pace.

• Build the Milwaukee market from the ground up
• Lead all production and field operations
• Work on job sites regularly to set the standard for quality and efficiency
• Master and enforce the full install process: prep, repair, coating, and finish
• Recruit, hire, and develop a team scaling to 30 employees
• Establish systems to support a high-volume, production-driven operation
• Oversee scheduling, logistics, and daily production execution
  
  Own KPIs including labor efficiency, job profitability, and throughput
• Ensure consistent, high-quality installs delivered on time
• Maintain equipment, materials, and operational organization
• Develop future leaders within production and operations

• 5 years in a General Manager, Operations Manager, or Production Leadership role
• Proven experience building or scaling a market, branch, or operation
• Experience managing 30 employees in a fast-paced, high-output environment
• Willingness to work hands-on in the field
• Strong background in construction, coatings, flooring, concrete, or trades preferred
• Experience with hiring, training, and developing teams from scratch
• Strong understanding of job costing, labor efficiency, and production KPIs
• Comfortable using spreadsheets and tracking performance metrics
• Highly driven, competitive, and results-focused
• Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills

• Base Salary: $70,000 — $100,000 (based on experience)
• On-Target Earnings (OTE): $120,000 — $150,000 as the market scales
