Machine Operator - Automotive Electronics Manufacturing

As a Machine Operator, you'll operate automated production equipment that manufactures automotive electronic components such as power window switches, push-to-start buttons, and vehicle entertainment system controls. What You'll Do- Operate automated manufacturing equipment in a cleanroom environment
- Load materials and components into machines
- Monitor production processes and machine performance
- Make routine machine adjustments and minor equipment setups
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
- Perform minor machine changeovers as needed
- Maintain production and activity logs
- Keep workstations and equipment clean and organized
- Communicate quality concerns or equipment issues to leadership
- Participate in cross-training and continuous improvement initiatives
- Follow all safety, quality, and environmental procedures
Required Qualifications
- At least 1 year of manufacturing, machine operation, production, or inspection experience
- Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
- Ability to stand and move throughout an 8-hour shift
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- 2+ years of machine operating or manufacturing experience
- Automotive manufacturing experience
- Experience in a GMP or cleanroom environment
- Comfortable wearing PPE including gown, hairnet, and shoe covers
- Stand for the duration of the shift
- Visually inspect small components and identify defects
- Use manual dexterity to handle small parts
- Lift and move materials, typically under 15 pounds
Competitive pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
