Hourly Pay Range
$36.00 - $55.80 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.
Registered Nurse – Transition to Practice – Emergency Department Position Highlights- Position:

Elmhurst Hospital - Night Shifts are available
- Transition Program classroom hours on day shift
Provides professional nursing care in accordance with the Illinois Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies. Utilizes critical thinking to assess patient conditions, identify changes, plan and evaluate care, monitor progress, and document relevant observations. Appropriately delegates tasks and collaborates as a team member to support unit goals.
What you will need- License: Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL required
- Education: BSN degree preferred
- Certification: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
- Below certifications can be completed during the program and required within 3 months.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within three months of start date into position
- Pediatric Life Support (PALS) within three months of start date into position
- Stroke Scale Certification (NIHSS) within three months of start date into position
- Experience: 1 year of nursing inpatient experience as an RN
- Eligibility for our Annual Incentive Plan, which offers the potential to earn a certain percentage amount of your base salary based on organizational performance. (For AIP eligible positions)
