Hours:

Monday–Friday; hours vary. Rotating Saturday.

• Under general supervision, provide high‑quality support to physicians in meeting the medical needs of patients.
• Escort patients to and from exam rooms and readies them for physicians; take vital signs, record medical history/symptoms, ensure medical chart/lab test results are available and complete.
• Perform telephone triage, patient education, handling of physician phone calls, pharmacy calls; may assist by calling to set up appointments or arrange hospital tests or admissions.
• Administer immunizations and minor treatments as prescribed; record and document all such activities in the chart.
• Assist physician with procedures as necessary.
• Cleans and stocks all patient examination rooms; cleans and prepares instruments for procedures; keeps list of needed medical supplies.
• Complete paperwork such as ordering lab tests, x‑rays, school/work notes, etc.
• Clean and sterilize equipment; check and restock medication cabinet as necessary.
• Respond to patient questions and concerns as liaison between physician and patient.
• Report all test results to the patient as directed by the physician.
• Perform OSHA controls as required.
• Assist in performing narcotic count.
• Perform other projects and duties as related to department objectives.
• Be able to get along with others, act as a team player, accept constructive criticism from your supervisor, and follow work rules.
• Utilize current nursing practices to provide patient care while focusing on the needs of the patient and exemplifying service excellence, care, concern, respect and cooperation.
• Act as a member of a health care team and function in the role of patient advocate by being the initial contact for patient‑related issues.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• Current IL RN licensure.
• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program.
• Current CPR certification.
• Prefer a minimum of one year of professional nursing experience in a clinical or hospital setting but may consider new grads under specific circumstances.

Base pay range: $27.00–$38.50 per hour, with the actual pay determined by factors such as skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity.

Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package.
